Episode 73 – British Metal Special

17. August, 2008

Great Britain, where it all began: Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, the great NWOBHM era and even extremer acts like e.g. Carcass, Napalm Death, Cradle Of Filth, Venom, Benediction, Bolt Thrower, My Dying Bride, Esoteric, and more. We broadened our focus a bit, to add Northern Ireland as well, making it a UK Special in a way. Although the UK plays a lesser role today, it did and still does spawn great bands. Predictability is not in our dictionary, but as usual we tried to mix old and new in various tastes. Rest assured that old school will continue to be featured in the coming episodes. And for the first time, we added a little game. Play along and win a CD.
