Episode 64 – Egyptian Special

Ancient Egypt has had its influence on many people over the course of several centuries and many today are still fascinated by what this culture left behind, on an architectural level, a spiritual level, and more. This Egyptian Special is sort of a hommage to that and you’ll hear that many different types of bands have an interest in such ancient history. Enjoy and may it be a trigger for you to do some explorations yourself. And who knows, one of the next times we might have real Egyptian Metal bands.

  1. Polina says:

Haha! Maybe we should have had two episodes – one for Egypt and the other for songs titles of which contain “Pharaoh” – we got 3 of those in a row :faint :  + one more in the middle of the show

Overall – I loved it! Haven’t heard that Freedom Call song before and Symphony X – those were really great new songs for me! :!:

  2. Kobe says:

Every SX song is a killer. I could have added them both. And now I’ve already got a song for the next Egyptian episode!

  3. karsten says:

shame on you Kobe! :wise :

  4. rdyfrde says:

You should have picked “Egypt” instead of “Pharaoh” by Symphony X. It’s a way better song and it sounds Egyptian :paah:

  5. Kobe says:

This one is going in my top 10 episodes, most definatly! I love every single song. The one that surprised me the most was the Nightwish one, I loved it!

  6. ThoNohT says:
