Episode 70 – Mats Levén

Mats Levén, who doesn’t know or hasn’t heard of him? This Swedish vocalist has quite a curriculum vitae in the music business: Yngwie Malmsteen, At Vance, Therion, Krux, Abstrakt Algebra and many more. From Heavy to Doom, he can take it without worries. Next to these bands, Mats also contributed to many other releases as backing vocalist or as a guest vocalist, again for various musical styles. His latest input can be heard on the Israelian Progressive Metal band Amaseffer’s debut album, which came out in June this year. With this Special we wanted to show Mats in his different vocal shapes. Hail to this magnificent singer!

  2. Polina says:

The Khlysti Evangelist was the first Therion song I heard, and I really love it,
but come on the intro “in Russian” is complete nonsense  . He talks gibberish
I’m always wondering – couldn’t the band get at least some fans to translate it properly. I’m sure they’d be uber happy to give some assistance :?:

  3. ThoNohT says:

Great episode, even though most bands really don’t play the style of music I like, I really enjoyed it! :!: Mats is a great singer too

  5. karsten says:
