Episode 67 – Metal Soundtracks

Several Rock and Metal bands have been part of a Film/Movie Soundtrack, for various types of movies. In some cases the songs didn’t appear on bands’ releases, but only on a compilation CD, yet there were bands that added that specific song to one of their regular releases. From Iron Maiden to Rage, from Metallica to Satyricon, enjoy another episode of diverse Metal.

Great EP with some great movies. Love Tublatanka and Bethlehem!
Watch Gummo!
Karsten, what about Olaf Ittenbach movies? :lala:
Karsten, you don’t know Ittenbach!? I see you’re not into extreme underground gore movies like Premutos – Der gefallene Engel, Familienradgeber, The Burning Moon…
But I have to say that Uwe Boll is worse than Ittenbach. But of course there are some great German movies/ directors.
never heard about those guys
You know Marcus, K. Always with the bizarre and cult stuff.
Not everything on this episode is my cup of thee, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Jim Carrey and Mike Myers are Canadians (me too) who are metal heads.
Appearantly Jim is a big Cannibal Corpse fan and got one of their songs in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. Cannibal Corpse – Hammer Smashed Face.

Who would have guessed such a song to be in Ace Ventura!
Thanks for letting us know! If we make another one, that is surely going in!

This is awesome! I would expect Mike Myers to be a metal fan after Wayne’s World (Party time! Excellent! hehe) and such.
Bum Carrey – oh that’s really nice
. CC song for Ace Ventura is a bit crazy!
I had heard about this before, but I didn’t know for sure/ didn’t remember. In fact, I’ve never seen the movie… but indeed, next time it will be featured. And laserprinter, I think you’ll be interested for this weekend’s EP
