For my taste, a little bit less. But in general, another
episode. Davola isn’t bad, but not that much my cup of tea. Evilwar is quite good, indeed. And Down is another ‘meh’, as far as I’m concerned. Still, it’s good to have heard them, else I wouldn’t really dig or hear about them (except Down). Obrigado, Marcussss.
The rest of the songs: no complaints at all. ![]()

Davola! A talented young “band”! ![]()
Linda
Great cast as always. Sorry hadn’t written before now, but haven’t been on much.
Marcus, sorry to hear about the drummer. I wasn’t familiar with Evilwar, but will be sure to check them out. It is bad enough to lose someone, but when that one feels the only way out is the put a gun to their head… not good.
And, we do listen!!! .. just need to clean the ears out a bit… ahh, that’s better.
Linda
Oh, almost forgot… Kobe!!! Belgium seems to hide hidden treasures. First Axamenta, which hasn’t left my player since you all introduced me to them, and now Gwyllion, which I plan to check out. Thanks!!
Eh, Linda, not to spoil anything, but it was me (Tim) who added Gwyllion to the list after having seen them live early this month.
I doubt Kobe knew about them prior to that. Just check the shownotes. *cough*
Same thing with Artrach, for example, which is one of my favourite Belgian bands. ![]()
I forgot: it’s great to read to you like them. Their second album should come out much later this year, as this summer they’re going to finalize everything (mix and master) with Jens Bogren, who worked with Amon Amarth, Oceans Of Sadness (Belgian), Draconian, Soilwork, Opeth, … So I think the album should become available in the fall of this year, maybe winter, but I’ll try to ask for an update in March, when I go see them again.
Linda
You do a wonderful job picking out song. Feel better now? LOL
Should be wonderful. I couldn’t find the album locally, but did check it out on torrents. As soon as my irs money comes back, I’ll probably order it.
