Yeahhh that was amazing! Looking forward to listening to it soon myself.
I’m in the heart of Mother Russia now
Marcus! you’re always welcome! Hope you can teach me some Portuguese
Karsten the banner is crazy! ![]()
karsten
Shownotes are up! Karsten killed them.
Great show guy’s! Really weird to hear a dutch song amongst them too. It was almost all pretty decently spoken, I could understand what they were saying most of the time.
Really cool to hear what Russia has to offer! Lots of strange and great metal! Excellent show!
Oh, and it’s Kobe, not Koby. ![]()
My first comment. I’ve listened many, though always been too lazy to comment
Great show,
I really enjoyed it! And the dutch song was really funny. Waarom was pronounced correctly indeed.
Well, on to the next show
Bye, ThoNohT
Linda
Awesome music! Before this, i knew of a total of 3 Russian rock/metal bands. Two were on here, Aria and Epidemia I knew of them from back in MP3.com days. I miss that site.
One thing I’m a bit confused on. The singer on Atomica sounded female (which surprised me by the fact I liked it. I have a tendency to prefer male voices). I went to the site, and all the pics depict men (I think… cannot read Russian)
Thanks again for a wonderful show!!
Judit
Great episode! I was glad to discover such great bands. And I also like the Russian lyrics, even though I don’t understand them. They have such a nice “aura” ![]()
Linda
I know what you mean about the lyrics, Judit. I always thought the spoken Russian language sounded made for metal… A mix of harshness and melodiousness.
Polina
I’m VERY happy you liked it girls and guys ![]()
Thanks a lot for listening and the nice comments
@Linda: talking about Atomica they really had this female vocalist, but not anymore. They are looking for a new one as far as I know
But I agree she sounds really good!
Wow!!
Excellent podcast. I really enjoyed Pagan Reign and Svartby among others. Looks like Russia is the new Finland! ![]()
